Police officers and paramedics were dispatched to the residence after receiving information regarding an escalating domestic disturbance. While responding to the scene, law enforcement was updated that the incident had escalated into a shooting involving one individual. This can help illustrate the positions of individuals and relevant objects, the relationship between the participants, and the circumstances surrounding the discharge of the firearm. Evidence Room was hired to create a shooting scene reconstruction. The team focused on presenting the shooting incident in a clear and understandable way. By combining the investigative information with a visual reconstruction of the scene itself. The reconstruction showed bullet trajectory, the positioning of Mr. Cunningham and Mr. Charles, evidence markers, and blood stain/spatter. The exhibit was designed to help communicate the sequence of events and provide a clearer understanding of the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
