Officer Involved Shooting

Former University of Cincinnati police officer Ray Tensing was charged with murder and voluntary manslaughter in the shooting death of Sam DuBose, an unarmed black motorist. Tensing shot Dubose during a traffic stop in July of 2015. In both of his trials, in October 2016 and June 2017, the juries were deadlocked resulting in mistrials.
